Give Yourself Thirty Days
It only takes three to four weeks for your habit to come automatically, yet many people give up after a week or so. Remember that getting through the first 30 days is the hardest; once you’ve nailed that, your new habit will start to become second nature.
Do it Daily
Consistency is crucial for making your habit stick. Carry out your new habit daily for the first thirty days; the more you do it, the quicker it will come automatically, like brushing your teeth or setting your alarm.
Keep it Simple
Trying to take on too much is likely to set you up for a fall. It can be easy to become over motivated, so try to set small goals that you know you are able to realistically achieve.
