At our busy chiropractic clinic in Witney our chiropractor treats patients on a daily basis whose back pain is a direct result of their lifestyle. It is is not uncommon that the patients themselves are surprised that their lifestyle is causing them such problems. It’s unfortunate that so many of our daily activities often have a detrimental affect on us.
Many of our actions lead us to having bad posture which can be a contributory factor to back pain such as hunching over our computers to slouching on the sofa.
The good news is that there is a simple 3 minute programme that we can incorporate in our daily lives that can help promote good spinal posture. The programme has been developed by the British Chiropractic Association (BCA) to develop balance, strength and spinal flexibility.
The programme has been split into three sessions:
- Warm Up
- Posture Care
- Finish Session
Each of the exercises and stretches has a specific purpose.
