Here are some health-giving ideas from our team at Witney Chiropractic Clinic.
1: Chocolate Covered Fruit
This is a great way to indulge in chocolate and get a healthy dose of fruit at the same time. Dipping whole strawberries, grapes or bananas in melted chocolate is our favourite! For an extra crunch, roll the fruit in almonds, walnuts or pistachios. Delicious!
2: Dark Chocolate
The darker the chocolate, the brighter the health benefits. When buying your Easter treats, look for chocolate that contains at least 70% cocoa. This ingredient has been shown to help reduce blood pressure and lower the risk of heart disease.
3: Carrot Treats
We know that carrots are not quite as tempting as chocolate, but the Easter Bunny loves them! Wrap a few carrot sticks in yellow ribbon and add them to your Easter basket of treats.
