Are You Sleeping on a Back Problem?

Here at Witney Chiropractic Clinic, we often see patients who suffer from back pain as a result of sleeping on the wrong kind of mattresses. And before coming to us, most of these patients were totally unaware that their cosy havens were to blame for their aches and pains!

Suffering from back pain? Our Witney chiropractor recommends the following:

A good clue to see if your mattress could be the culprit of your back pain is to keep a watch on when your pain occurs. Waking up with back pain that subsides after stretching is a strong indication that your mattress needs changing. Waking up more frequently during the night or tossing and turning more than usual is also a sign that your mattress is not right for you.

Our advice is to change your mattress within every 8 year period – even if you don’t currently suffer from back problems. Small changes can make big differences to your back health.
